[Sadly In-N-Out Burgers are found only in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. It's worth the trip.]
Day after day, week after week, year after...(I guess you get the idea) the same questions come up -- "What do you want for dinner tonight?" and "What haven't we had lately?" To help us answer these questions I have kept a log of our evening meals since Saturday, January 27, 2007. That night we ate BBQ baby back ribs and Nassau Grits.
When the list became too long I broke it up into six-month segments:

Somewhere I heard red beans and rice were a traditional New Year's food. I love to make it in the rice cooker because it's pretty fool proof.
I want to try making tamales this week. I've never done it before and I don't have an Abuela to teach me. It'll just be me and googled recipes trying to figure it out.
Claire, I'll have a pork tamale with lots of green chilis in it, please.
